Happy Fall.  Fall is the favorite season for many people.  When I lived in Texas, there wasn't much change other than cooler weather.  I am loving the color of Tennessee. During football season, it is only appropriate that Tennessee trees bring out their Big Orange in celebration.  ​

Crabtree Publishing brings you the following great series by Reycraft Books.  This        non-fiction series is on the 3-4th grade reading level and are full of facts and gorgeous photographs about the corresponding animal.  These cover photos will attract all readers.

Lots of Fall 2023 sample books and catalogs arrived today.  I haven't had time to look through most of them, but two really caught my eye.  The first is a Collective Biography by Black Rabbit Books which can be ordered through me and J Appleseed Media called Rebel Girls Lead: 25 Tales of Powerful Women.  When browsing the Table of Contents, I discovered a powerful woman dear to Tennessean's hearts Pat Summitt.  The second book also available through J Appleseed Media is called The Glorious Forest that Fire Built by Ginny Neil.  This beautiful picture book illustrates how forest fires are critical to forest health and that the end of a tree's life provides the opportunity for new life.  Let me know if you want these great books for your library.
